The ECOFED Consortium Partners

ECOFED brings together partners representing different roles of a federated cloud ecosystem. Cloud service providers BIT and i3D.net validate that the ECOFED framework can be implemented on different technology stacks without requiring providers to re-architect their infrastructure. InfoSupport contributes both cloud and software-integration expertise, ensuring that federation works with real-world applications and enterprise environments. AMS-IX contributes expertise in CSP-to- CSP connectivity, addressing the connectivity required when services and workloads are distributed across multiple cloud providers. TNO coordinates the project and contributes research, architecture, interoperability and standardisation expertise, helping align ECOFED with European cloud initiatives, standards and the wider IPCEI-CIS ecosystem.

Together, the partners use their own technologies and infrastructure to implement and validate ECOFED as an open, technology-agnostic federation framework, demonstrating that independently operated cloud services can be compared, composed and switched across providers.
