Privacy Statement

Principle

We respect your privacy. Via this website we will not attempt to identify any specific natural person. Based on your data there is no profiling of natural persons. Barring legal requirements your personal data will never be shared with third parties. Your personal data will never be sold or ‘rented out’. We do not share your data with any data processors inside or outside the European Union.

Tracking and Cookies

This website respects the choice of visitors who have indicated they do not wish to be tracked. For visitors who have enabled the 'Do Not Track' option in their browser, no data is stored. For visitors who have not enabled this option, actions on the website are tracked. The purpose of this is to map how often different parts of the website are visited and to adjust the content accordingly. We use the web analytics and tracking software Matomo for this. This application is hosted by us, so third parties do not have access to the data collected by the application.

The tracking software sets two cookies:

  • _pk_id: This cookie determines whether the visitor is new or returning. It is valid for 13 months.
  • _pk_ses: This cookie determines which pages have been visited and what actions have been taken on those pages. It is valid for 30 minutes.

The website does not use third-party cookies.

Rights

You are the owner of your personal data. This means you also have rights regarding that data, even when it is processed by others. The rights you can claim are described below. You can contact us to exercise these rights. These rights are:

  • Right to Access: You can request your own personal data that we have processed about you.
  • Right to Erasure: You can have your personal data we have processed deleted.
  • Right to Object: You can object to our processing of your personal data.
  • Right to file a complaint: You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority of you believe we are mishandling your personal data. You can submit your complaint via the Dutch Data Protection Authority’s website.

Data Processors

We do not use any data processors. ECOFED is data controller and processor.
